One daily note
Today I have conversation with my co-worker. The subject was outsourcing. If you would analyze the Ukrainian market, you would find two big IT-companies, which are proposing many positions now. They are hiring developers from Kyiv and other cities of the Ukraine. Also, I have information about third company, which will open offshore departments in Ukraine in nearest days. Of course, all of them are proposing good salary.
Let’s move to the near feature. If these companies would not have enough projects many developers would be fired. This is the market economy. As the result your new salary in the new company could be less than current one. Maybe, some employees would return to Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv… It could be the economic crisis. It’s really possible.
I must remember this. Learning technologies, Sun certification, English are foreground tasks.

I think you are overvalued these companies. There many small offshore development teams, and they are actively hiring developers too. They can’t compete with big companies in conditions of work, but they have ability to pay as much money as others. And I don’t think that all companies could lost their projects in the same day
Therefor we would have some time to thinking and to leard something new (for example, how to bake bread, or drive taxi
