		<description>Hmm, didn't work ... I even deleted my contacts in address book and then resynced (which made all my contacts in my phone deleted but good thing I had it backed up to my SIM card), still no pictures.</description>

Please, select your mobile. Click on 'More Options' button and check 'Synchronize pictures'. You must have something like this:
