Use iTunes to transfer music to Nokia 5300 on Mac OS X

November 21, 2008 | mac os x

Someday Ray wrote about Nokia Multimedia Transfer at comment. When I try this software first time it does not support Nokia 5300. It was sad. I have updated it several day ago and it works. It’s amazing and very easy to transfer your music and photos to Nokia 5300. Just connect phone to Mac using usb cable. Nokia Multimedia Transfer will create folder at iTunes and iPhoto. Their names will be same as your phone name (check it at Settings->Connectivity->Bluetooth->My phone’s name).

And you just create playlist at this folder.

create playlist

Add your favorite songs to playlist.

add music playlist

Select Start Transfers.

start transfers

And last – update your library at phone’s Music player and relax listen to music :) .

Thanks! I’ve tried multimedia transfer before, but didn’t look closely into settings that allow transcoding my music from apple loosless into mp4 so that my nokia can read it. *Feels happy now*
